Nashville, Tennessee MSA Leads Nation in Job Growth

The recently released job growth numbers from the United State Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) leads the nation in job growth.  Cheatham County is part of the Nashville MSA and the Partnership 2020 initiative.

“Nashville ranking as the No. 1 region in the country for job growth in 2012 is evidence of the vibrant economic conditions that we see here,” said Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, who also co-chairs the Partnership 2020 initiative. “This achievement is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the private sector, the public sector and the Chamber over many years to create the conditions that help produce a strong economy and job growth in Nashville.”

This Number 1 ranking is further evidence of this region’s superlative environment for business success, job growth and capital investment.
