UBS, one of the world’s largest banking and financial services companies, announced today that the company will invest $36.5 million and create 1,000 new jobs in Tennessee, specifically in downtown Nashville.
“Expanding our presence in Nashville is the right business decision for UBS,” said Kathleen Lynch, chief operating officer, UBS Group Americas and Wealth Management Americas. “The new UBS Business Solutions Center is part of our global strategy to continuously improve our efficiency and effectiveness for the benefit of our clients and shareholders.”

Companies can choose to do business anywhere in the world, and it says a lot for Tennessee and Nashville that UBS wants to be here.”
Bordering Nashville/Davidson County to the west, Cheatham County is an integral part of the Nashville MSA. UBS’s downtown expansion will be only be 20.4 miles from the Cheatham County Courthouse in Ashland City, which is close to the center of the county.
