Random bits

I had meetings out of town on Friday and in one of them the conversation turned to retail and commercial recruitment. With companies like T.J. Maxx, Dollar General, and Walmart planning for expansion, it would be nice to have the interest and resources that other areas are committing to attract more retail development.

Twendz lets you track what is said about a particular topic in tweets on Twitter. Sometimes I do random searches to see what people are saying on Twitter. I typed in ‘Minnie Pearl’ and there were 25 tweets that mentioned her in the past week. Social Media and web 2.0 may not only allow everyone 15 minutes of fame, but also keep the great legacy entertainers alive across generations.
